PHL17’s Jennifer Lewis-Hall Moderates Associate Alumnae Of Douglass College Women’s Conference

“Women Moving Forward.” It is the title of an important women’s conference this past weekend. And PHL17’s Jennifer Lewis-Hall was the moderator at the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College Women’s Conference in East Brunswick, NJ.

Jennifer Lewis-Hall, a veteran journalist, author and speaker – spoke to Valerie Jarrett, CEO of the Obama Foundation who was also the former Senior Advisor to President Barack Obama. Jarrett spoke with Jennifer about professional journey, life working in the White House and her book, “Finding Your Voice: When the Perfect Plan Crumbles, the Adventure Begins.” 

About 250 women along with State and University Officials, attended the conference, which included a luncheon, workshops and presentations.

The conference focused on celebrating women’s advancement over the last 100 years, while also exploring the work that needs to be done for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
