Connect with Douglass Alumnae at Our Black Alumnae Network Meeting and Book Discussion
Join us to connect with sister alumnae at this important virtual General Body Meeting. Black Alumnae Network (BAN). President Toni Armstead ’74 invites all alumnae to attend and invite a friend. We will discuss BAN’s participation together with the Rutgers African-American Alumni Alliance (RAAA) at Rutgers Homecoming & Family Weekend on Oct 12-14, Holiday Gathering, future programs and much more. Immediately after our meeting, we will start the book discussion.
The Evelyn Sermons Field ’49 Literary Society gets underway immediately following the meeting. We will will discuss “Finding Me,” a captivating memoir written by Oscar-winning actress and bestselling author Viola Davis. “My hope is that my story will inspire you to light up your own life with creative expression,” she says in her book.
